Memory Booster

Before you think “Not another Memory Booster / Optimizer”, Rizone Memory Booster is not just another Memory Booster. And yes, I know all software companies claim that they have the solution to never upgrading memory again. First of all, most of these companies are full of it, most of them rely on the placebo effect, this is, if you think it’s going to work, it will. Also, most of them will try and optimize your system by forcing memory out of RAM.
Rizone Memory Booster does not run on the placebo memory optimization engine and will not force any memory out of your RAM (unless you use the Defrag option). It will however make a Windows API call that tells Windows to clean up the workspace of all processes thus freeing up any memory, processes no longer needs (Clear Processes Working Set). It will do this periodically to help improve the speed and the stability of your system.
Keep in mind that this method will not free up a big amount of RAM, but instead will, as previously stated, improve the stability and performance of your computer. This will also cure memory leaks and in some cases has been able to unfreeze programs. Because it uses a Windows API call, you know that it’s safe to run.
[notice]Defrag memory is an experimental function. It will force most of the memory into the Pagefile. In most cases, this is not a good thing, but could free a lot of RAM. You can try it and if it slows down your computer or cause programs to lock up simply reboot and everything should be fine.[/notice]

I just purchased a macbook and between the leaks from firefox and market samurai it quickly maxes out my 2 gigs of ram. I am looking into the firemin download you suggested. Does the firemin and this memory booster work for MAC? You mentioned windows in both articles but I am wonderin if this and firemin will be a suitable solution for the mac as well.

This new version opens the browser window directly to your homepage every time i initiate the memory booster. Is there a way to disable this function?

Hello,
does this application run in privileged mode? Because if it does, I am thinking that it has potential to crash my Windows XP Professional.

This program does not detect my full ram memory : i have 4 mb ram installed and i see 3000 etc.
What can i / you do to correct this?

Since installing Memory Booster whenever I boot up my computer my browser opens automatically to your homepage and I don’t even have to open IE! How can I uninstall the booster?

Since a couple of weeks ago (when update), spybot SD is detecting memory booster as a threat “yobdam.ait”. I know that is a false positive, but you should fix it.

Sounds great but I have 2 issues before I download it.
Is it OK with a win7, 64 bit computer.?
Has the problem with it opening IE and setting your URL as the home page?
